Dear TiP-TV Customer:


We want to make you aware of some important changes regarding the TiP-TV satellite network for Healthcare Professionals. Within the last year, there has been a significant decline in the availability of television programming from third party providers.

 

Accordingly, TiP-TV will discontinue broadcasting continuing medical education programs from third parties.

This necessitates the following changes:

  • GE Healthcare will no longer print and send out bi-monthly coordinator toolkits for third party CME/CE accredited programs for Healthcare Professionals.

  • The Clinical Medicine Today series will no longer air over the TiP-TV Satellite Network. For further information on the Clinical Medicine Today series and any questions you may have about the series, please visit thier website directly: www.ClinicalMedicineToday.com.

  • TiP-TV Diagnostic Imaging programs (MR, CT, Nuclear Medicine/PET, Mammography, Ultrasound and X-ray) will continue to be delivered simultaneously via satellite and Internet through 2008. Beginning January 2009, these Diagnostic Imaging activities will be available exclusively via the Internet. If you would like to receive or continue to receive the Diagnostic Imaging Toolkit, please send an email to geeducation@ge.com and provide your name, department and facility mailing information so that we can make sure you receive the most up-to-date Diagnostic Imaging program schedule.
