  • Describe a rational approach to the diagnosis of thyroid disease in women
  • Review the latest clinical trial data regarding prevalence and outcomes for women with thyroid disease
  • Describe new therapeutic approaches for the treatment of thyroid disease in women.

Mayo Foundation is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The Mayo Foundation designates this educational activity for a maximum of 1 category 1 credit towards the AMA Physician's Recognition Award for each program. Each physician should claim only those credits that he/she actually spent in the activity. The American Medical Association has determined that non-US licensed physicians who participate in this continued medical education activity are eligible for AMA PRA category 1 credit. This program is offered in cooperation with Mayo Continuing Nursing Education. Mayo Continuing Nursing Education is accredited as a provider of continuing education in nursing by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. Participants may earn 1.2 accredited contact hours for each program. Registration includes continuing education credit certificate processing for participants.
