Subscribers to the TiP-TV Satellite Network have access to over 150 hours per year of programs accredited for physicians, nurses, pharmacists, diagnostic imaging technologists and other healthcare professionals. These programs are included in the TiP-TV subscription, which also includes satellite receive equipment, installation and a 24x7 technical support number.

Q: Is there any cost for my facility or staff to participate in TiP-TV programs? top
A: Most programs airing on TiP-TV are included with your subscription.
Q: If programs are part of my subscription, why do I need to register?? top
A: Your registration is very important. By registering for programs, you provide valuable input into which educational programs are of interest to your staff. In addition, your registration ensures that you will receive the information and CE materials for the programs you are interested in.
For CME/CE coordinators: To register your site to view programs on the GE TiP-TV satellite and to receive coordinator kit materials, please visit www.TiPRegistration.com or call (877) 438-4788. Participants who choose to complete and submit their post-test and evaluation online will be asked to register themselves individually at that time.
For individual participants: There is no registration necessary to view the activities. If you plan to submit your post-test and evaluation form via the Internet, you will need to register at the testing website to view and complete the post-test. Please note that online testing takes place on the websites of different accreditation providers and that you may need to set up individual profiles with each provider.
Q: What if my facility is not a TiP-TV subscriber? top
A: Many programs are available as online courses. Log on to www.TiPRegistration.com to see a list of archived webcourses available on this website.
Q: Can I view the programs on the web if I have already viewed them via satellite? top
A: Yes, while you will not be able to get CE twice you are encouraged to take advantage of the Archived Web Courses.
Q: Who is authorized to register my hospital to participate in programs airing on TiP-TV? top
A: If you are the individual who will be coordinating the viewing of one or more programs at your facility, you may register yourself as a site coordinator. In addition, TiP-TV subscriber facilities have designated TiP-TV site coordinators who can also register your facility. To find out who your TiP-TV site coordinator is, call (877) 438-4788 and ask for the name of the Education Coordinator at your facility.
Individual registration: Individuals who plan to participate in programs as an online courses, should select the Individual Profile registration option.
Q: How will I know if I am registered for a program? top
A: Once you have created your site profile, you only need to select the “Add To Agenda” icon to register for a program. To see which programs you have registered for, please select the “My Profile” tab at the top of the menu bar to see a listing of the programs your site has registered for.
Q: What marketing materials will be available for me to use to recruit colleagues in my hospital? top
A: Each program provider will provide different materials for promoting a program. Many of these materials will be downloadable on this website. You may also be sent materials via mail or email.

Q: Who can I call within my hospital to determine if we have the right satellite equipment? top
A: Only TiP-TV subscriber facilities have the capability to view the broadcasts. To find out who the TiP-TV Education Coordinator is at your facility or if your facility is a TiP-TV subscriber, call (877) 438-4788.
Q: How do I receive CE application materials for the broadcasts? top
A: For TiP-TV site coordinators: Accreditation information, evaluations and post test materials will be posted on this website. In addition, materials may also be mailed or emailed to coordinators who register their facility to receive individual programs.
Coordinators should photocopy and distribute materials to all program participants. Please collect the evaluation and Post Test forms at the conclusion of the program and return to the address provided on the form.
Individuals may also be able to take tests online. If this option is available, a link will be available for taking the test online.
Q: How long in advance should I tune in to the satellite broadcast to test whether I am receiving the signal? top
A: The TiP-TV signal airs 24 x 7 so subscribers can test their equipment at anytime. We recommend that you tune in to the TiP-TV channel approximately 30 minutes prior to the start of the program to verify a quality audio and video signal. A: We try to schedule multiple airings of most programs. With live programs, additional replays are oftentimes not available.
